How To Pull Your Own Oracle Cards

If you’re a spiritual entrepreneur, chances are you are very familiar with oracle cards. You probably ask others to pull for you all of the time, yet you’re unsure of how to pull for yourself. It’s all about confidence and feeling into your own intuition.

You don’t need anyone else to pull for you (even though it can save you time and effort), but you can tap in, read, and clear energy all by yourself. The only thing you need is the desire to do so.

Here’s how you can pull your own oracle cards quickly and easily on a daily basis:

  1. Take a moment to center yourself by sitting quietly in a safe space and breathing slowly. While in this space, ask your angels and higher self, “what do I need to know right now?”

  2. Choose a card deck and put your hands over the cards to place the intention to clear the deck or use a pendulum if you have one. If you do use a pendulum, I say my intention and allow the pendulum to swing until it stops. It allows the energy to leave the cards and once it’s starts to slow down, I ask if the deck has been cleared. Once it gives me a “yes” (mine swings up and down), I pick the deck up to start shuffling. Don’t get discouraged if your pendulum swings in a different direction than what my mine did. Every pendulum has it’s own energy and it also depends on what type of crystal/stone/metal is at the end of it.

  3. While shuffling the cards, ask the cards “what do I need to know right now” (just like you asked yourself earlier) and take a deep breath. This is where you feel into your intuition.

  4. Allow the cards to do their thing. If one card or ten fly out of the deck, consider those cards as your answer. If they don’t fly out, it’s okay. Just take a deep breath and pull as many as you feel you need at that time. Typically it’s one to three cards.

  5. Place the cards in front of you and read each message slowly to let it all sink in. If the card has a message on it, read that first then refer to the book. Also, take a moment to see how each card feels as you hold it in your hand.

  6. Time to reflect! Get a journal out to write about your cards, your feelings or emotions, and what steps you can take to move forward. But, don’t feel like you need to journal to let everything sink in. Do what feels right to you.

Remember – this is all energy and you only get what you put in. Stay positive!
