Let’s face it. We have probably tried at least 50 different mascaras in our lives (okay, maybe that’s just me)… But, I honestly have narrowed my favorites down into a short list of 5 (technically 6) must have mascaras for 2020!
I absolutely love trying a new ones a few times a year and with the mini sizes (and I added the mini ones below), it’s much more cost effective than buying the full product until you know you absolutely love it!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (Regular & Waterproof)
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara lives up to it’s name! It’s one of my absolutely favorite mascaras for both every day and those occasions where I might shed some tears. It has a regular version and waterproof version and to be honest, they’re both amazing! The waterproof version definitely lived up to the hype during a few outdoor concerts in the rain too! My eyelashes look so long when I wear it!
Benefit They’re Real Mascara
I would say that Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara is a cult favorite. I love Benefit’s makeup line. Their Bad Gal Lash was one of the first mascaras I bought at Sephora when I really got into makeup and I was happy with my purchase. This mascara adds length to my eyelashes and is super light!
Clinique High Impact Mascara
The Clinique High Impact Mascara pleasantly surprised me. I got this in a sample pack of goodies within a monthly subscription bag and I was hesitant to try it at first (for whatever reason). Once I did, it became part of my weekly work makeup routine!
COVERGIRL Plumpify Blast Pro Mascara
COVERGIRL Plumpify Blast Pro Mascara is a hidden jewel in your local department store. I’ve tried my fair share of low-cost mascaras but this one quickly became my favorite when I didn’t want to splurge.
NARS Climax Mascara
NARS Climax Mascara is another cult favorite. It’s sure to add the fullness and volume that you’re looking for. If you’re willing to splurge, I’d try this ASAP! It also comes in mini size and regular size!
