Many factors play a key role in whether you have healthy skin or not. Lack of sleep, poor nutrition, and other factors can interfere with your ability to get glowing skin naturally.

Today I’m going to share some tips to help you get glowing skin naturally so you can start taking care of your skin without using a million different products!

How To Get Glowing Skin Naturally

Cleanse Your Skin Regularly

You’ll want to use a skin cleanser to wash away dirt and debris from your busy day. Oil and dirt collect in your pores as you go about your daily activities like running errands, exercising, and just living your everyday life. You can use a face cleansing brush and some natural soap that’s safe for your skin each night before you go to sleep for a thorough cleanse. But, I absolutely love the Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Exfoliating Face Scrub. I use it every day and swear by it!

Moisturize With Coconut Oil

If you’re not allergic to coconut, then consider using coconut oil as a natural moisturizer for your skin. This amazing natural oil can remove makeup, soothe your skin, and promote healthier-looking skin for a natural glow. Allow the coconut oil to sit on your skin for a few minutes before washing it away with warm water.

Try Aloe Vera

Aloe vera has healing properties that promote new cell growth to get glowing skin naturally.  The cool thing about this option is that you can grow aloe vera in a container at home if you’re up for a new hobby.

Test a small amount of aloe vera on your skin before use, as some people are allergic to it. Once you’re ready, just apply aloe vera to your skin after each daily washing for a healthy, natural glow. If you’re interested in a facial spray instead, this one is my favorite.

Increase Water Consumption

A hydrated body returns glowing skin naturally. Aim to drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water every day. I absolutely love this water bottle to keep track of my daily water intake instead of tracking it on an app! I have too many as it is.

But if calculating your intake is your thing, you can use a daily water intake calculator to determine how much water to drink on a daily basis. This calculator helps you determine the most appropriate level based on your body weight for maximum health and glowing skin!

Eat Fruits and Vegetables

Nutrition plays a key role in how healthy your skin is. The more fruits and vegetables you consume, the more vitamins and antioxidants you’re getting into your system. The healthier the diet, the healthier your skin, which means you’ll be glowing in no time when you opt to increase your fruit and vegetable consumption each day.

Minimize Skin Exposure to Hot Water

A nice, steamy shower will help cleanse your pores, but staying under hot water for too long will damage the natural oil in your skin. Be sure to minimize your skin’s exposure to hot water by only allowing the steamy hot shower water to run on your face for a few minutes. You will want to practice this so that your skin maintains its natural oils for the ultimate glow.

Paying attention to your daily habits for maximum skin health is the best way to start obtaining that healthy glow every day. No matter how young or old you are, each day is a new chance to use natural options for healthy, glowing skin!
